Are you a highly motivated, organised, and proactive individual? Then join our dynamic team at Actif Carmarthenshire as an inspiring Fitness Instructor. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our visitors. You will be supporting our customers with their daily workouts and motivating members to help them improve their health and wellbeing.
Carmarthenshire County Council's Sport & Leisure Section's ambition is to improve wellbeing through inspiring our population to be active for life. We will create an active Carmarthenshire and establish ourselves as the most successful and trusted service in the UK.
As a Diabetes Prevention Instructor, you will plan, organise, and deliver safe and effective exercise prescription across all Actif Sport & leisure facilities and within community settings.
You will lead/support the delivery of the 8-week Foodwise intervention alongside HDUHB colleagues.
For those that want to be more physically active (via programme screening process) you will be required to provide guidance and support to find the avenue that is most suitable to their goals i.e., NERS, fitness, swimming, digital, community groups, etc.
