This Principle Sales Business Development role within the Interiors SBU offers a tremendous opportunity to grow and develop working with a highly collaborative group of Business Development professionals.
This position requires close coordination with the Sales Manager, Proposal Manager, Value Stream Leader and Business Development professionals as well as interactions with Pricing, Contracts and customers

This role is a remote working opportunity, however, it is affiliated to Leighton Buzzard facility, UK where you will be expected to attend on regular occasions.

Purpose:
Manages assigned territory and/or customer accounts to optimize bookings and revenues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and affinity. Accountable for Spares Provisioning, Repairs, Mod and Upgrade (MAU) and LTA closure.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Actively manage a diverse select group of assigned customers within assigned region
  • Act as customer point of entry for unassigned accounts
  • Proactively engage with airlines and aftermarket personnel to resolve customer issues
  • Assist Sales Account Managers with development of customer specific presentation materials
  • Develop and manage suite of departmental presentation materials for product and services offerings
  • Liaise with SBU’s as required to further support Collins Aerospace Interiors / RTX’s broader sales activities
  • Actively engage in contract development for MAU programs
  • Assist with the development of templates and artifacts for the Sales BD team, including work instructions and procedures
  • OEM survey support / co-ordination
  • Conduct business in a manner that supports company policy (codes, procedures, ethics)
  • Perform other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate
  • You must be really strong communicator - ability to build quick rapport
  • Must be determined and enthusiastic
  • Experience in Account Management for a technical field would be great - this is about getting to know your customer - not hard selling.
  • Experience of working with multiple accounts and delivering the best possible service levels.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and relevant experience working within aerospace industry experience is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office
  • MRP systems (E1 / SAP)
  • Program Management experience
  • Commercial Aviation experience
  • Account Management / Customer Support experience
