Senior Process Engineer

We manufacture high performance Printed Circuit Boards (P.C.B.) in low to medium volumes for high technology blue chip companies worldwide. The main markets are military, Aerospace, Medical and Telecommunications. Graphic PLC Crediton currently employs over 200 staff who are working on the cutting edge of printed circuit technology.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Process Engineering Team. We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Team. This role will provide essential first-line management support to our Process Engineers, offering guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. This includes leading continuous improvement process activities, trouble shooting and project management. Collaboration with other departments will be key therefore exceptional interpersonal skills is vital.
This is a full time permanent position working as a Senior Process Engineer. Previous engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree in science/engineering, or equivalent is a must for all but the most exceptional candidates. We look forward to the successful candidate joining our Process Engineering Team, the majority of whom have been with the Company for many years.
What you bring to the Team:

Preferably 2+ years of experience in engineering, or a Bachelors degree in science/ engineering for all but the most exceptional candidates.
Logical thinking and a good application of the scientific method.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of detail.
Good understanding of technical documentation.
Leadership Qualities or Managerial Experience
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, statistical process control, 8D methodology
Demonstrative investigative ability to identify and conclude specific areas of concern, identifying route cause and offering potential solutions
Experience in auditing manufacturing processes and documentation

The Salary: From £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
