Silver Sea - Shift Manager

• £11.50 - £13.00 an hour
• Evening and weekend shifts available

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, positive team management, crew meetings, stock managment, health and safety, security and hygiene. Your customer service will need to be delivered at the highest level whilst coaching and mentoring your team to achieve the same goals.
The Company

• We currently have four fish and chip locations and one warehouse, all located over Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. We are planning to keep expanding and growing the company prioritising building and further developing our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about progression and who can help grow the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining the company reputation for excellent food and service.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting food to the correct high standards.
• Directly managing portion control and use of ingredients to minimise waste.
• Ensuring all Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards are met and in line with the law and company policy.
• Professionally managing a team.
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Promote the highest food hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in a hospitality environment
• Interest in cooking
• Good attention to detail and customer focus

Our preference is that the candidate have experience in Catering, Food Safety or Management but will consider someone who shows the correct attitude, commitment and approach as full training will be given.
