Location: Southampton
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to manage a brand-new store set to open in November 2024.
The Role:
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and coaching the store team to ensure the successful daily running of the store. Your goal will be to drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer service while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). You’ll be at the forefront of recruiting, developing, and retaining a strong team, ensuring they are fully trained and passionate about the products and customer service. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in managing store operations, such as stock control, budgeting, visual merchandising, and maintaining strong communication with head office. Your commercial awareness will guide the store to make effective business decisions, and you’ll take the lead on creating a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and coach your team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Oversee recruitment, staff development, and performance management, ensuring your team remains highly engaged and aligned with company values.
- Build strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service and product knowledge.
- Manage all store operations including stock control, budgeting, payroll, and ensuring visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
- Analyse sales trends and make commercial decisions to optimise store performance.
- Promote and maintain a positive work culture that reflects the brand’s ethos and values.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security, and cost management processes.
- Work closely with head office teams and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities and ensure a seamless store operation.
- Proven experience as a Store Manager with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
- Experience within menswear is preferable, however fashion within premium womenswear or footwear will be considered
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with both customers and stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with experience in analysing sales data and making informed decisions.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple aspects of the store’s operation, including stock control and visual merchandising.
- Strong communication skills to influence and negotiate with various internal and external partners.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a creative mindset to drive business growth.
