Job Summary
Duties as a Trainee Engineer include:

• Working alongside an experienced installation engineer, working on large construction sites as a team of two operatives
• Assisting in the installation and service of life saving smoke ventilation systems in large apartment buildings across the South East.
• The role will involve the installation of automated dampers, roof lights and smoke control systems, plus other associated components
• The termination and connection of low voltage cabling into the components
• Assisting with the programming and commissioning of these critical systems

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of engineers. Based from our headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex you will work predominantly across London and the south of England and nationwide on occasions.
Working hours will typically be 6am - 4pm Monday to Friday but candidates must be flexible and occasional expensed overnight stays will be required.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
A good technical aptitude is essential and a technical/construction qualification would be preferable, but not essential.
Previous construction/site experience is preferred and experience within an electrical or installation environment would be an advantage.
Existing CSCS Card holder preferred. however successful applicants without CSCS will be required to qualify for this prior to commencing employment.
We are looking for a confident individual to join our team. The ideal person needs to be practically minded, methodical and willing to work hard as part of a professional team. A proactive, organised and problem solving approach is often required. Good communication skills are essential as there will be direct contact with a range of different site personnel.

Pay: £1,500.00-£2,500.00 per month
