Job Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our Belfast Warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and transporting goods efficiently while ensuring the safe handling of items. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and materials handling, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of operations within our warehouse environment. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm with scheduled breaks.
Duties

• Safely operate a van for the transportation of goods to various locations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
• Perform picking and packing duties ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Handle materials with care, adhering to all safety protocols during loading and unloading processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to build and organise shipments effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the vehicle and loading areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
• A valid driving licence is essential; a clean driving record is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
