Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports Sr Technicians in diagnostics
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles for necessary repairs and regular maintenance
- Completes brake alignments, maintenance, timing belts, struts, fluid changes, coolant flushes and other service/maintenance related tasks
- Utilize computer-based applications for automotive related information
- Competently and clearly communicate information to Service Manager
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
- Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
- Order parts needed for repairs if needed
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- ASE Certifications are preferred, but not required
- NYS Inspectors License preferred, but not required
- Must have your own tools
