We are currently looking for a Battery Modeling Researcher to join our team in Silicon Valley, CA or Remote.

A Day in the Life:

• Develop multi-physics & reduced order or surrogate models to simulate electrochemical systems
• Interface with computational and experimental researchers to develop multi-physics models
• Conduct extensive descriptive analytics on collected data
• Analyze, summarize and present research findings and results through presentations, reports/documents and publications

Who We're Looking for:

• Masters with a minimum of 5 years of experience or Ph D with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related battery field. Ph D is a plus.
• Advanced research achievements in scientific papers and patents, with hands-on experience and advanced understanding of multi-physics phenomena (e.g., Newman model, Surrogate, Reduced order models, Equivalent circuits, COMSOL or similar tools).
• Exposure to a wide range of machine learning and statistical modeling algorithms/techniques, and in-depth knowledge of Python with machine learning frameworks like Tensor Flow, and Python packages for data sciences such as Pandas, Scipy, Numpy, etc., or Matlab.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, excellent writing and communication skills, teamwork skills, and a strong passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Salary Range:
$100,917.00 - $230,589.00
