Summary/Objective
The Processing Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting with the processing, production, and packaging of cannabis products. Additional responsibilities include record-keeping, quality control, inventory, compliance, facility cleaning, and meeting production deadlines. The Processing Technician Assistant reports to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment and tools
• Package and label products according to company specifications
• Assist with manufacturing of various cannabis products
• Keep various stages of production of product organized and clean
• Ensure quality all along the production process
• Maintain OMMA compliance with each step of the production process
• Inventory tracking and reporting
• Clean and organize facility, workspace, and equipment
• Meet production requirements and guidelines as determined by managers
• Perform other duties as needed

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing setting. This role routinely uses manufacturing and production equipment. They may be exposed to loud noises and uncontrolled temperatures.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds. This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the workspace. The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time, reach overhead and reach below the knees.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical hours would be 8:00am – 4:30pm and about 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required as job demands vary.
Travel
No travel is expected for this role.
Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to read technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation in order to get to work on time.
• Must maintain acceptable attendance.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Comfortable multi-tasking in a dynamic, continually changing environment.

Work Authorization/OMMA Credentialing
Employee must be authorized to work in the United States and must possess a valid driver’s license.
