Summary:
A Cashier with American Dining Creations will provide outstanding customer service while completing orders and processing payments. Organized, detail oriented, and experienced in properly processing cash, debit, credit, and other point-of-sale system transactions. Responsibilities include processing and packaging mobile food orders. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Operate POS to ring up orders quickly and accurately.
Receive payments including cash, debit, credit, mobile and other payments where applicable.
Balance POS system at beginning and end of each shift.
Menu knowledge, ability to provide recommendations and up sell when able.
Greet, assist, and provide friendly customer service to all guests.
During peak business times step in to support your team with preparation, catering and delivery as needed.
Tasks may include clearing trash, restock product, clean, and maintain workstation and general area neatness.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior cashier and POS experience in retail or food service environment preferred.
Ability to manage multiple orders, work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills and the ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
This position requires lifting 50lbs, bending, walking, climb stairs, and standing for scheduled shift.
