City Carrier Assistant

- Sort and organize mail for delivery
- Load and unload mail from vehicles
- Drive assigned routes to deliver mail to businesses and residences
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and post offices
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail
- Ensure mail is delivered accurately and on time
- Follow safety procedures while operating vehicles and handling mail
```Qualifications```
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks such as moving mail containers
- Familiarity with delivery routes in the assigned area is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 50 per week
