• Analyze requirements and prioritize tasks as necessary
• Design database architecture for new applications
• Review and optimize existing databases and TSQL codebase
• Assist report team with writing and optimizing report queries
• Test and debug various database related applications
• Support and train junior developers in TSQL best practices
• Document development and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in SQL Development and Database Architecture
• Significant experience with Microsoft T-SQL and building complex queries
• Significant experience designing databases for business applications
• Strong experience developing ETL packages using SSIS
• Proficiency in database and query optimization as well as indexing strategies
• Knowledge of data structures, database design and ability to create functional data models
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities
• Solid verbal and written communication skills suitable for a professional environment
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, identify facts, and draw valid conclusions
