The Pen Is Mightier Content Creators is hiring talented, dynamic legal copy editors/copywriters to join our team part-time, with the potential for full-time employment. Professional copyediting experience and experience writing and editing for the legal industry are REQUIRED.
As a part or full-time copy editor, you will be responsible for editing copy delivered by our team of professional legal writers. This is not proofreading just for spelling and grammar; this is heavy editing for quality, tone, style, and accuracy. Qualified candidates must be able to identify and quickly correct factual errors, consistency problems, logic issues, and phrasing that could and should be improved for maximum readability and conversion. As such, candidates should expect to do a considerable amount of rewriting.
This is a position that requires organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail. If you have experience in the legal industry and are passionate about writing and editing, this is a great opportunity for you.
