Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Substation Engineer-In-Training 1 to work in our Austin, TX office.
What You Will Be Doing:
This position will work on the design of substation physical layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding analysis and design, generating single and three-line schematic diagrams, panel wiring, DC schematics, control building and relay panel layouts, lighting design, and coordination with structural, civil, transmission line, and graphics disciplines. Will work as part of a design team; could be assigned to more than one project.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University
• Up to 2 years of experience
• Must have passed FE Exam or will be taking the FE Exam within the next 6 months of being hired
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time

Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility
While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
