Job Summary
The office of Athletics is currently seeking bright students who can work in various settings, such as collaborating in an office environment alongside coaches, players, and media personnel. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth sports knowledge, be adept at multitasking, and demonstrate the ability to perform a wide range of tasks on a daily basis. Flexibility is key, as the role will involve working at sporting events that may take place on nights and weekends.
In addition, there will be opportunities to support various game-day responsibilities, including involvement in promotional and marketing activities. Occasional short-distance travel might be necessary.

Responsibilities
- Assist in game day duties' ticketing, setup, take down, etc.
- Work with Grizzly Digital Network - broadcasting of live events, video editing, filming.
- Marketing home events to students and community.
- Assist sports information with stat taking, game clock, scoreboard, PA announcing, etc.
- Other duties that improve the GGC Athletics experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Federal Work Study award.
- Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
- Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment.
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters.
- Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Photoshop & In Design, Daks STAts or Stat Crew statistical programs.
- Experience with Netitor or other Web content management system.
- Experience in official scoring of baseball/softball games is preferred, but individuals with relevant backgrounds can also be easily trained.
- Individuals must be open to acquiring new skills and embody a positive attitude in their daily work, reflecting a professional demeanor that aligns with the standards of Grizzly Athletics.
