Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is located on the serene island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands and is a family-owned and managed beach resort nestled in a beautiful sandy bay along the Caribbean Sea. Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is seeking a full-time Host/Hostess. This position will be scheduled for 5 shifts per week during the hours of 3:30 - 10:00 PM.
Position Purpose
As the Host/Hostess, you will welcome and cheerfully greet guests as they arrive into the establishment and seat them.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter premise with a pleasant demeanor, seat them with menus and silverware
• Monitor open dining sections for empty and cleaned tables
• Estimate wait times for guests and care for the needs of guests while waiting
• Knowledge of menu items and nightly specials
• Keep an eye on dining room entryways and general areas and keep clean throughout operations
• Assist in setting up dining room
• Maintain and clean menus and host stand
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required.
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships

*Valid Health Card is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
