Job Overview
We are seeking a Independent Contractor to join our team as a Driver. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations in Vancouver 98662 using a large delivery van. I am able to do a lease to own if you don't have your own vehicle. Pays $2 per stop.
Duties
- Operate a Delivery Van to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and organize your van
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
-Use a smart phone effectively
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle
-Be able to deliver up to 200 stops per day
-Most packages are 2 to 10 lbs. Occasionally a package will be 60 to 80 lbs.
-Be able to work 6 days a week. Occasionally 7.
-Work starts around 8:45am
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Capability to lift and move heavy items during loading and unloading processes
-Must be legal to work in the United States
-Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must not have more than 1 driving infraction in the past 2 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $280.00 - $360.00 per day
