Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $32.00/hour
Note: Salary can vary depending upon education, experience, or qualifications

Position Summary:
The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Analyst Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day technical support for employees, ensuring efficient resolution of hardware and software issues. The Supervisor will manage a team of IT professionals and play a crucial role in implementing IT projects, maintaining the functionality of IT services, and fostering a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software systems, troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and escalating when necessary.
  • Deliver timely and effective resolutions to users’ problems, queries, or complaints, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Assist in evaluating hardware and software solutions, recommending upgrades, improvements, or replacements to optimize IT infrastructure.
  • Supervise a team of IT professionals, managing daily operations and ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services.
  • Implement IT projects that align with the organization’s goals and IT strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, IT security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Address employee concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and support ongoing professional development.
Required Experience:
  • One year of experience in a related IT role or position.
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, with the ability to recommend improvements.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL).
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle a variety of IT issues.
  • Experience with a range of hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows), and office software applications (e.g., MS Office 365).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing IT projects or initiatives.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Power Shell).
  • Previous experience with recruitment, onboarding, and team development within an IT environment.
Necessary Special Requirements: Ability to obtain and retain an OITS Security and KCJIS clearances are requirement of employment and continued employment.
