Janitorial Senior Lead

Tulsa

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver training on daily janitorial tasks with the proper utensils and cleaning chemicals provided.
Train staff on the correct use of janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, covering basic janitorial duties, safety protocols, and ABM policies.
Perform regular assessments of staff to ensure cleaning standards are being met, providing retraining where necessary.
Ensure all staff are knowledgeable about proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical safety data sheets (SDS) related to their tasks.
Maintain accurate records of training completion and compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA.
Adapt training to address emerging cleaning techniques, new equipment, or changing client needs.
Work closely with the management team to identify training needs with new hires in order to improve performance.
Assist with hiring classes as well as orientation classes as needed.
Job responsibilities can change at any time based on needs.
Availability to work weekends as needed .

Qualifications:

Previous experience in janitorial services, with hands-on knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
Strong knowledge of chemical safety, proper handling, and storage of cleaning agents, and the ability to train others on these topics.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse workforce.
Ability to conduct both classroom-style and on-the-job, hands-on training.
Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: $16/hr
