Manager of Hotel Relations and Negotiations

- Overseeing negotiations of rates with hotels across the United States.
- Maintaining current contracts with hotels to ensure the lowest possible rates for clientele.
- Compile forecast reports to ensure negotiations in locations that best suit client’s needs.
- Communicate both verbally and in writing to maintain positive relations with hotels.
- Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies.
- Make recommendations to improve potential from various markets.
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal negotiations with prospective hotels.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Self-starting personality with a positive attitude. Must always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Can communicate well with hotels. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends and economic factors, is a must. Ability to access, understand and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
