Bio West Ag Solutions is a growing Fertilizer Company seeking a Fertilizer Manufacturing Assistant to join our team at the Aberdeen, Idaho Facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

• Mixing custom fertilizer blends for delivery
• Loading, and unloading liquid fertilizer
• Maintaining and repairing equipment
• Making the occasional delivery
• Keeping track of inventory
• Communicating effectively with plant manager and other employees
• Motivated, dependable, self-starter with good work ethic
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work longer hours during spring, harvest and fall planting season
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift 40 lbs.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• CDL Class A (optional)
• Ability to operate a Forklift
• Ability to complete mix sheets, inventory logs, and paperwork as required
• Basic computer skills are necessary including math calculations

Hours and workload vary depending on the season with spring being our busiest time of year, fall being our second busiest time of year, and summers varying. Winters are mostly spent working indoors servicing equipment and preparing for the following growing season. The job provides fast paced working periods where overtime is welcome as well as slow times where vacation time is easy to schedule.
