Manufacturing Associate

Job Description
We are a manufacturing facility located in Miami Gardens/Opa Locka area of Florida. We are looking for a creative, passionate, hardworking, reliable person. who has a good sense of color. Some experience with artistic painting and use of color and color mixing is a plus. Employees will be working with resins, paint product and casting molds. Some molds are heavy and repetitive movement of the mold are necessary. Person must be able to use drill press, sanders and band saw. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:

Candidate will be trained to perform the manufacturing tasks.
Work with resins and pour resins in molds, remove dried resins from mold. Requires strength and long hours of standing.
Mix resins very well before pouring- items need to be measured carefully to maintain proper mixing and coloration. Cut excess from molds off of item with Sharp exacto knife or sand with sander.
Keep track of items and orders required to be manufactured by you in a timely manner.
Careful with the use of resins, work responsible in a clean organized manner.
Keep track of formulas and be able to calculate a larger amount or smaller amount accurately for each project-keeping color consistency and quality. Person must be able to figure math and fractions.
Keep molds in an organized manner.
Work well with team members.
Be able to read and write and knowledge of math and fractions for measuring resin.
Much of the work requires strong repetitive movement with your arms.
You must be detail oriented and take pride in your work.
Job requires use of some power tools such as sanders, drills and hand tools and knives.
Employee will be required to help store boxes on racks help unload trucks when deliveries come. This is not a daily task.

Qualifications:

Detail oriented and self-motivated.
Artistic and creative is a plus
Good judgment with color matching
You must be able to stand for long periods of time, work in a cool environment, use of both hands to pull items repetitively from a mold.
Bi-lingual English-Spanish
You must be legally able to work in the United States, have reliable transportation to and from work.
