SUMMARY
The Marketing Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Product Business Office with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, planning and analysis processes. This includes conducting analyses across initiatives and providing actionable insights to improve our overall performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities
COMPLIANCE
Ability to comprehend and adhere to federal and state banking regulations, company policies and procedures, and successfully participate in regulatory and company training requirements via multiple and variable delivery methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:
1. Bachelor (4-year college) degree in Business, Finance, or similar discipline.
2. 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Strong presentation (oral and written communication) skills with ability to effectively communicate to senior executives.
4. Experience with MS Office – Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
5. Team orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

SUMMARY
The Marketing Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Product Business Office with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, planning and analysis processes. This includes conducting analyses across initiatives and providing actionable insights to improve our overall performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in financial and resource allocation budget for Marketing and Product projects.
- Gathers data for Marketing and Product KPIs and prepares reporting for stakeholders.
- Liaisons with the Finance Department to facilitate periodic forecast and budget cycles for Marketing and Product.
- Partner with team members on pricing and promotional strategy using financial modeling.
- Provide analysis and manage P&L for key programs, including forecasting expenses vs. breakage.
- Assist the Marketing and Product team in preparing financial analysis on loyalty programs and campaigns, digital sales and CRM offers to help understand the anatomy of a discount and build repository of financially viable offers.
- Build and maintain robust financial dashboards and analytical tools to help Marketing and Product teams develop effective strategies and tactics to grow business and brand.
- Independently develop process improvements resulting in the development of new technological ways to streamline and improve reporting efficiency.
- Consistently communicate across various functions and departments driving appropriate collaboration, coordination, analysis, and timing of deliverables.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Solid understanding and background of integrated financial and reporting systems.
- High level problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to manipulate and leverage large amounts of data into meaningful reporting.
- Ability to identify and implement strategic objectives in area(s) of responsibility.
- Exceptional analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills is a must.
- Intellectual curiosity and professional ownership.
- Has a proactive and constructive style of engagement with business leaders to earn credibility as a finance partner who adds value and helps drive business results.
- Excellent ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to package and present financial data/information in an executive manner focused on driving business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the early stages of a high growth business preferred.
