Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for an Operator 3 – Lead Operator on 1st Shift. Overtime is available as needed.

Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Job Summary: Learns all operations in the film production area.

What you will be doing:

• Fill in at several operations as needed due to volume of workload, vacations, or sick leave.
  
• Receive assignments from the material hander and/or supervisor on a daily basis.
  
• Become trained and efficient on operating all production equipment.
  
• Will be the backup for the material handler.
  
• Cleans machines as necessary.
  

What you will bring along:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
• Ability to interpret production specifications and relate to inspecting product to ensure product is meeting the quality requirements of the specifications.
  
• Organizational skills to organize work area and workflow throughout the day.
  
• Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions.
  

Physical Demands, Work Environment and Required Safety Equipment:

• Must be on feet entire shift.
  
• Works in busy production environment, operating up to 5 laser machines at the same time.
  
• May be subject at times to noise and varying lighting levels.
