Paint Shop Digitalization Co-op (Spring 2025)

Description

Candidate will acquire knowledge of BMW paint shop production processes and daily operations in terms of quality management. The Digitalization Co-op will support Paint Shop Microsoft Power platforms, APEX and other programs for development and optimization needs. They will be a key member in the digitalization team and growth of the paint shop systems.

The qualified intern should be expected to:

Develop, enhance and roll-out quality reporting systems.
Properly document systems steps for handoff.
Review Production data and develop systems to support data analysis.
Learn APEX from Paint IT team and structured training.

Qualifications

Pursing a degree in Computer Science, ME, EE, or other technical degree
Experience with or ability to learn the following: SQL and VBA knowledge, Oracle and database experience, Application Development/Design, Microsoft Office Programs, Self-motivated and communication skills.
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
Have enrolled status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
Ability to complete 3 work terms for co-op positions.
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
