Position Summary:
As a Pastry Cook Baker at Seed to Table, you'll be the creative force behind our array of artisanal pastries, breads, and confections. Under the mentorship of our World-Renowned Executive Pastry Chef, Chef Sebastien, you’ll have the chance to hone your skills and elevate your craft to new heights. Whether your goal is to perfect a classic croissant or invent a show-stopping new dessert, this is your stage. Key Responsibilities:
- Artisan Craftsmanship: Create a diverse range of from-scratch breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, ensuring top-tier quality and consistency.
- Recipe Innovation: Execute innovative recipes that keep our offerings fresh, unique, and irresistible.
- Precision Execution: Maintain the highest standards of baking precision, from ingredient measurement to final presentation.
- High-Volume Production: Efficiently manage multiple baking tasks in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a passionate team of bakers to ensure smooth, coordinated daily operations.
- Hygiene and Safety: Keep your workstation clean and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, creating a safe and organized kitchen environment.

- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States, be at least 18 years of age, and have reliable transportation.
- Standing Endurance: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining focus and precision.
- Lifting Ability: Capability to lift and move heavy items (up to 80 lbs) safely and efficiently.
- Manual Dexterity: Skilled in both gross and fine manipulation, ensuring precision in handling pastry tools and ingredients.
- Visual Precision: Peripheral vision and near/far visual accuracy are essential for detailed pastry work.
- Auditory Awareness: Ability to hear and respond effectively in a bustling kitchen environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move fluidly around the kitchen.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in diverse temperatures and environments, from hot ovens to cold storage areas.
- Ingredient Handling: Ability to work with a wide variety of fresh ingredients without allergic reactions.
- Physical Endurance: Capacity to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 80 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
