Johns Hopkins Bayview is a vibrant academic medical center, offering services that range from primary care and emergency medicine, to specialized centers for burn treatment, bariatric surgery, pelvic health, allergy and asthma, and Alzheimer's Disease. As a Registered Nurse, RN, Cath Lab, you will be respected as a vital team member. You are tasked to transport and prepare patients for invasive and noninvasive procedures, monitor heart rhythm and blood pressure, and administer moderate sedation per physician order. The procedures include diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiac cath procedures as well as transesophageal studies. This team is dedicated to our patients, each other and quality of care. We equally value each team member because together we are better!

Meg Souder, the Nurse Manager, has a remarkable seven-year tenure with us and holds responsibility for managing the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This dual role fosters a sense of camaraderie within our teams and promotes collaborative efforts in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Education:

• RN license in Maryland or compact state
• CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Required to be enroll in a BSN Program within one year of hire and complete the program within 5 years of hire)
• Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful
