Job Requirements:
The selected candidate will be responsible for destroying proprietary documents by operating a shredding / hammermill and baling machines. Destroys various proprietary and classified materials utilizing an incinerator. The candidate should possess or have the ability to learn to operate warehouse machinery and equipment including a forklift.
Job Function:
-
Physcial requirements, but not limited to:
- Getting in and out of vehicles, climbing (stairs, scaffolding, ladders, etc.), and walking for long distances, such as moving from one work site to another.
- Must be able to maneuver (using a handtruck) 55-gallon drums weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, grasp, hear, work primarily with fingers, visual acuity, operate company motor vehicles, work in extreme heat/cold environmental conditions, and be subject to hazards such as near heavy and loud machinery.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
- Must be able to interact with persons of varying importance, multi-cultural customers and personnel.
- Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Do D security clearance
- United states citizenship
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school education or GED
- Must be familiar with basic computer skills
- Must have valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with or certification in forklift operations.
- Experience operating a shredding and baling machine and/or incinerator
