Senior Associate Logistics Infrastructure and Fleet Resourcing * Work from home

- Collaborate with Specialty Vehicle, NFO, and Transportation leads to build and maintain relationships needed to efficiently deploy the Red Cross specialty vehicle fleet including Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs), Mission Response Vehicles (MRVs), and rented vehicles such as box trucks, passenger vehicles, cargo vans and other necessary vehicles.
- Develop and maintain a 5-year plan of incoming and retiring Specialty vehicles.
- Work with Divisions on training, and preparedness of specialty vehicle teams.
- When necessary, Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate Fleet resourcing.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Lead to strategize, design, and put into action plans for securing temporary warehouses, various sites—both mobile and stationary—as well as staging areas for short-term and long-term use. Furthermore, provide support in the recovery and return of resources utilized in operations. This role supports the procurement, development, and upkeep of Disaster Infrastructure, which includes, but is not limited to, warehouses, fixed and mobile sites, office locations for headquarters, staging areas that may be either temporary or permanent, operational sites for vendors and partners, as well as fixed and mobile locations for service delivery.
- When necessary, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate Infrastructure resourcing.
- Analyze program activity to identify areas for improvement through embracing innovative approaches and tools.
- Create and maintain dashboards and other data visualizations to track logistics infrastructure and fleet performance and provide insights.
- Collect and analyze data, identify areas of need and/or improvement, and develop recommendations for program improvement.
- Develop reports on project status and issues for management review.
- Administer processes within assigned program area.
- Analyze operating practices and recommend revisions to improve established procedures.
- Support in the acquisition, delivery, and tracking of assets, materials, goods, labor, equipment, and supplies.
- Attend Element, and Verizon meetings, assist with access and training
- Support fleet readiness to assist in overseeing maintenance and repair of vehicles, managing fuel and other resources, and coordinating with transportation providers as necessary.
- Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all Logistics volunteers.
- Work broadly through various relationships to include Disaster Operations, Corporate Fleet Services, Procurement, Finance, Fundraising and Development, Vendors, Divisions, Regions, and Volunteers.
- Support the Disaster Logistics Center (DLC), including Disaster Operations Coordination Center activation, after-hours coverage, and any additional logistics support required by the DLC.
- Participate in “on call” rotation representing Disaster Logistics while performing time-sensitive operational tasks in support of active Disaster Relief Operations
- Deploy (virtually or physically as required) to large-scale national disaster relief operations as needed.
- Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

The starting annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
