ServiceNow Administrator - Junior

Overview:

Gov CIO is currently hiring for a Junior Service Now Administrator to administrate the Service Now user experience and user interface for the Service Now App Engine project called CONNECT. The position is located in Fayetteville, NC and will be a hybrid position (onsite and remote within the United States).

Responsibilities:

Is responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our Service Now App Engine project called CONNECT. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and human-centered vs functional design. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Administers permissions, manages the database, and provides training on management and use of systems.

Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high-fidelity mockups in their design work
Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders, executive leadership, and other creative professionals
Designs and codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools Maintains and modifies existing software applications
Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software
requirements, and alternative methods of problem resolution
Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures
Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications
Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required: Secret

High School with 0 - 3 years (or commensurate experience)
SNAF-CSA (Service Now Administration Fundamentals - Certified System Administrator) must be attained within 180 days after onboarding

CIS - ITSM (Certified Incentive Specialist - IT Service Management
CIS - ITOM (Certified Incentive Specialist - IT Operations Management) CIS - SP (Certified Incentive Specialist - Service Provider)

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Gov CIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Gov CIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
