A Title Clerk maintains vehicle title workflow by sorting and forwarding title information; supporting operations. We are looking for an individual with prior title experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare tax and title documents and submits to state authorities
• Verify payoffs on trades, and send payoffs/collects titles
• Process yearly renewal of dealer tags in for his/her stores
• Process titles for auctions sales, and then post receipt checks
• Maintain tax and title schedules
• Assist sales and finance departments in making sure paperwork runs smoothly
• Handle customer and dealership inquiries regarding tag and title issues
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Understand all title guidelines, and keeps knowledge level current and up to date on state requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with dealership tag and title
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Computer literate and must be able to learn DMS
• Strong attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task quickly and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Team oriented
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
