What You Will Do
Freshpet requires an accomplished Training Specialist with a wide range of experience. Experience that is recognized by the training department’s customers as an approachable style, with the ability to manage concerns/issues, excellent listening skills, work with the business to understand training needs and following through to completion. This person must be organized and professional, build strong working relationships with team members, and be recognized for applying strong creative, administrative, and communication skills while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
How You Will Make an Impact

• Administers, scores, and logs results of qualification, learning assessment, and retention tests; arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores

• Plan, organize, and administer the activities of the Training group efficiently
• Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback

• Recommend continuous education that complements their area of responsibility

• Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development

• Collect and interpret data, analyze results, report results back to the relevant members of the business

• Researches and identifies areas in which training is required and/or beneficial
• Evaluates existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes
• Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed audiovisual equipment and training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks

What You Will Bring

• Participated in creating and implementing training programs in a manufacturing environment
• Maintained training records
• Proven experience as an administrator, assistant, or similar role
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing – food industry preferred
• Training Within Industry – TWI Job Instruction knowledge a plus

• Display the ability to train and relate information in a methodology that is easily communicated and understood
• Proficient in MS Office, working knowledge of databases and LMS is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
• Solid verbal and written communications skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrates a growth mindset

Work Environment and Time Requirements

• Ability to work in a cold environment when required
• Requires Monday Thru Friday Work (40hrs)
• Ability to work off hours when business requires
• Ability to work in a team environment
