Job Description:
The Treasury Clerk is responsible for assisting the Accounting Team by performing a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Duties:

• Performs general accounting and clerical functions to support the Accounting & Finance Team
• Maintains treasury files, bank records, financial logs, and reports
• Prepares treasury related journal entries and reconcilations while adhering to month-end close schedule
• Tracks daily treasury activity and balances cash to general ledger on a regular basis
• Records and researches returned payments from financial institutions
• Processes, posts and applies all online payments
• Provides support for both internal and external audits
• Assits with a variety of business insurance related tasks, including management of certificates of insurance
• Completes vendor credit applications and assists Treasury Analyst with customer credit assessments
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education:
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from accredited four-year university.

Experience:
Required:

• 1-2 years of related experience.

Preferred:

• Previous Treasury/Banking experience
• Honorably discharged service veterans preferred.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
