Unarmed Security Guard

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Security Supervisor.
- Responsible for identifying dangerous objects and preventing those objects from being transported through screening locations.
- Carry out duties professionally and courteously, providing exceptional customer service.
- Use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment.
- Perform metal detection searches, pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines physical searches of property, and other identification reviews as needed.
- Additional security-related duties to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must possess a current Florida Class-D Security License.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Must be able to pass a verifiable background check, including criminal employment, education, and personal references.
- Must possess a valid state-issued Driver’s License or a valid state-issued I.D. card.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment / annual/random drug screenings.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work and interact with the public.
- Must be able to work around the flexibility and changing schedules. This includes being available to work shifts throughout the day, afternoon, evening, and overnight as required .
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Class-D License.
