• Defines and shapes the Asset Performance framework for the Assets.
• Provides or links technical expertise to asset needs supporting improved asset performance.
• Leads the coordination of projects that directly impact Asset Performance across the operations.
• Responsible for Benchmarking, Performance Improvement, and Analytics as elements of a best-in-class Asset Performance program.
• Provides oversight and coordinates activity/execution for the identification, prioritization, and execution support of projects that improve Asset Performance.
• Participates on Asset, Cross-Asset & BU, and Upstream/Enterprise initiatives related to Leading & Competitive Performance and leads implementation on behalf of the Asset.
• Leverages Analytics & Workflow Solutions to realize efficiencies and enhance data quality within Operations and Cross-Functionally
• Interfaces with Executives, Functional Leads, Asset Operations, and other stakeholders throughout the business, securing buy-in for Performance improvement opportunities.
• Identifies technical needs within the assets and brings technical expertise from within Chevron Venezuela, LABU, the Corporation, or external resources to resolve issues.
• Act as a mentor for less experienced employees.
• Perform data analysis of key oil and gas performance metrics to gather insights and recommend decisions to senior leaders.

• Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) spoke and written
• Process/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with significant field experience in brownfield assets.
• Previous demonstrated project management experience for small and medium size projects.
• Demonstrates effective organizational and personal change leadership to achieve adoption of program initiatives in the Asset and across functions.
• Heavy experience in cross-functional teams, roles and demonstrated success in executing complex scopes and delivering impactful results.
• Ability to listen and take direction quickly and innovate with little to no guidance.
• Ability to influence stakeholder groups, build awareness, and buy-in to initiatives, and demonstrate partnership across multiple sectors of the business.
• Highly collaborative and seeks partnership in activity; addresses difficulties as opportunities to innovate and improve, with a focus towards results and partnership.
• Motivated to deliver work products in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Able to effectively communicate at all levels in both English and Spanish.
• Availability to travel domestically to other locations.

• Previous experience as a leader within Oil & Gas assets (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, etc.)
• Led projects with applied project management skills.
• Previous experience influencing stakeholders.
• Led successful maintenance program in Oil & Gas assets.
