I. What You’ll Do
As a Technical Architect in Unity (C#), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing our Sports Video Game projects. You will work closely with a team of passionate developers, designers, and artists, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Your primary focus will be on developing sports video games using the Unity engine, with specific attention to Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X platforms.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality game features using Unity.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable game systems, optimizing performance and quality for Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X.
• Guide development teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical requirements clearly, and bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders for effective problem-solving.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and integrate new features seamlessly.
• Debug and resolve complex issues to enhance game performance and user experience.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating advancements into our development processes.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making, shaping the technical direction of our projects.

II. What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of professional experience in game development with a track record of shipped titles.
• Extensive proficiency in Unity and C# programming.
• Experience in developing and optimizing games for Play Station 5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
• Deep understanding of game development principles, including graphics, physics, AI, and networking.
• Advanced skills in performance profiling, optimization techniques, and platform-specific debugging tools.
• Passion for video games and strong knowledge of gaming culture.
• Experience with multiplayer game development and network optimization.
• Familiarity with other game engines and development tools.
• Expertise in shaders, animation, and 3D math.
• Advanced knowledge of version control systems such as Plastic Gluon.
• Robust portfolio showcasing work on high-profile, shipped game titles.
• Knowledge and experience with sports video games such as Madden, NBA2K, and FIFA.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Willingness to relocate to the US.
