We specialize in aiding Japanese clients in understanding and navigating the complex political and economic landscapes of Brazil and/or Argentina, supporting their decision-making processes with comprehensive, actionable analysis.
Role Summary:
As a Latin America Policy Research Consultant, you will provide expert research and analysis on a project-by-project basis. Your primary duties will include examining investment policies, domestic political dynamics, and geopolitical issues within the region, crafting detailed reports, and conducting remote discussions with clients to support their strategic planning and policy formulation
Key Responsibilities:
⚫ Conduct comprehensive research on investment policies and political dynamics in Brazil and/or Argentina, focusing on how these factors affect Japanese investors.
⚫ Develop tailored, strategic recommendations to help Japanese clients effectively navigate and leverage local political and economic environments.
⚫ Prepare detailed reports summarizing research findings and offering actionable insights for clients.
⚫ Facilitate remote consultations with clients to present research findings and strategic recommendations.
⚫ Monitor ongoing political and economic developments in the region and evaluate their potential impact on client interests.
Requirements:
⚫ Extensive experience in policy research, particularly related to Latin America political and economic environments, with a focus on Brazil and/or Argentina.
⚫ Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex political and economic dynamics into clear, actionable insights.
⚫ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing detailed and persuasive reports for a Japanese client base.
⚫ A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
⚫ Prior consulting experience in policy research or a related field, with expertise in Latin American markets, is highly desirable. Knowledge of Japanese business culture is a plus.
