You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Austrian GAAP and IFRS. Your role involves close collaboration with outsourced accountants and tax advisors to maintain financial integrity.

Job description:
- Collaboration: Work closely with outsourced accountants and tax advisors to streamline financial processes and resolve any discrepancies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of external audits.
- Cost Accounting: Implement and manage cost accounting systems to track and control costs.
- IFRS Adjustments: Manage the transition from Austrian GAAP to IFRS, including the preparation of financial statements and adjustments required for compliance.
- ERP Implementation: support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, including the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting manuals
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulations and business environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Austrian GAAP, IFRS and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., BMD, Microsoft Dynamics, etc) and advanced Excel skills.
