GAC Bahrain is looking for an Application Developer and Automation Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and automated workflows to streamline business processes and improve efficiency. You will work closely with different departments, manage SQL databases, and ensure our IT systems run smoothly. Technical Skills:
- Programming Languages: Typescript, C#, HTML, CSS.
- Power Automation and Microsoft Office Automation tools
- Development Platforms: Angular, .Net, Bootstrap.
- Tools: Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, MSSMS, Postman
- API Development and Deployment Experience.
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure.
- Azure Dev Ops experience for continuous integration and delivery.
- Database: Strong SQL experience.
- Design, develop, and implement web and client/server applications, APIs, and automated workflows to streamline business processes, increasing efficiency and productivity. This includes modifying and maintaining both new and existing applications.
- Maintain and optimise applications by updating existing systems and ensuring they function effectively. Design and manage SQL databases, including coding Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers in SQL Server.
- Analyse IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Apply strong SQL knowledge and extensive scripting skills to develop Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers for efficient database management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automated systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver automated solutions tailored to their needs.
- Lead and manage IT automation projects, ensuring timely completion within the defined scope and budget.
- Test and document applications, ensuring quality and functionality while keeping detailed records of system architectures, designs, integrations, and modifications.
- Stay current with technology trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance IT operations and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a related field in full-stack development, API creation, and automation processes.
- Proficiency in coding languages relevant to IT automation and system integration.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and network systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Dev Ops practices.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
