Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with over 8+ years of expertise in managing the financial operations of an organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing taxation, bookkeeping, responding to regulatory notices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will play a key role in optimizing the company's financial performance and ensuring long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, specifically in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in handling taxation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
3. Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Quick Books).
4. Financial Services Experience: Demonstrated expertise in managing financial operations, compliance, and reporting within the financial services industry.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
8. Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in Bahrain.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present financial reports, including business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
- Provide insights and actionable recommendations to managerial staff for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and profitability assessments.
- Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Respond to regulatory notices and liaise with authorities as needed.
- Oversee and maintain accurate bookkeeping records, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
- Develop and manage the company’s budget, monitoring expenditures and providing variance analysis.
- Advise on investment activities and develop strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance and long-term growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local laws.
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews.
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, setting goals, and implementing best practices in financial management.
