Job Description
VAM Systems is currently looking for J2EE Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Basic requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Java, J2EE programming, CSS, Java Script, HTML and Web Standards
• Preferably certified in the field, e.g. OCJP & OCWCD
• University degree in computer science/engineering or related.

Advance requirements (Added value):

• Decent experience in test Automation
• Experience with Mobile development (Android/i OS) experience with UX/UI skills.
• AWS certificates (architect/developer)
• Knowledge in AWS micro services architecture i.e. containers

Responsibility

• Analyze new user requirements assigned by System Development Chief and provide an accurate estimate of time required for implementation and testing. In addition, analyzed results should include anticipated impact of the change on existing functions, data, and system workflow.
• Implement analyzed change requests within the IBM Web Sphere J2EE environment or any other platform.
• Conduct thorough and structured unit testing to ensure implementation satisfies all use cases and is defect free.
• Investigate reported system defects and implement proper solutions.
• Adhere to SDLC, change management process, incident management process, system development QA measures and application deployment policy.
• Work closely with EMS Analysis Team to provide 3rd level support to EMS by answering queries about any reported issues and requested clarifications on system behavior and process flows.
• Contribute in QA related tasks such as regression testing, UAT data preparation, code review, performance tuning, security enhancements, etc.
• Execute required R&Ds, learn new technologies, tools, and best practices related to the job to strengthen knowledge and comprehension and stay updated about advancements in the field. This can include frameworks, design patterns, code constructs, MQ tools, profiling tools, etc.
• Mentor and coach junior developers (when required) to improve and strengthen their knowledge and experience in the development field.

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading organization in Bahrain.
