Join an exciting fintech startup in Bahrain, serving the GCC market, as a Junior Full-Stack
Developer. This role is ideal for recent graduates eager to develop their technical skills in both frontend and backend technologies. You’ll work closely with our team to create, maintain, and enhance platform features, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment (For Bahrainis only)
Key Responsibilities:
● Frontend Development: Help build responsive user interfaces using React/Next.js to
deliver a smooth user experience.
● Backend Development: Support the development of backend services and APIs using
Node.js or Python.
● Database Management: Assist with creating and managing database schemas.
● Payment Integration: Learn and support the integration of payment gateways.
● Security and Best Practices: Follow security guidelines and best practices to ensure
safe and compliant software development.
● Real-Time Features: Contribute to building real-time functionality such as order
tracking.
● Code Quality and Testing: Write clean code and assist in automated testing for reliable,
high-quality development.
● Technical Documentation: Support the creation of technical documentation for platform
features and functions.
Required Skills
● Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or a related field.
● Basic Frontend Knowledge: Familiarity with React.js or Next.js for building responsive
interfaces.
● Backend Development: Some experience with Node.js and/or Python, either from
coursework or personal projects.
● Database Basics: Understanding of basic SQL/No SQL database design and
management.
● API Knowledge: Basic knowledge of RESTful API development.
● Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control.● Security Awareness: Awareness of security best practices for web development.
Desired Skills
● Interest in Fintech: Passion for learning about financial technology and payment
systems.
● POS Systems: Knowledge or interest in working with POS integration.
● Cloud Services: Basic understanding of AWS or GCP.
● Dev Ops: Familiarity with Dev Ops tools or concepts (a plus).
● Mobile Development: Interest in mobile-first development practices.
