An HVAC Project Engineer has the primary role of providing the necessary planning, organization, coordination, and direction of the project managers to meet the profit and growth objectives of the division. Also provides the project management team resources to act for the company in matters of the successful progress and completion of assigned projects according to established schedules and specifications. The Project Engineer performs basic engineering for selected projects as assigned for HVAC, Plumbing and Controls with the oversight of the Chief Engineer.
1. Responsible for the Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of HVAC Systems.
2. Perform all types of HVAC calculations such as Heat Load Calculations, External Static Pressure Calculations, Pump Head Calculations, Staircase Pressurization Calculations etc.
3. Well-versed in Technical selections of all HVAC Equipment such as Chiller, AHU, FCU, Pump, Fan etc. and prepared technical & commercial comparisons of quotes based on various suppliers’ quotations.
4. Prepare Material Submittals as per project specifications, and HVAC shop drawings as per IFC drawings and get it approved by the Consultant.
5. Ensure project execution follows the project quality plan and complete the project based on the estimated manpower cost.
6. Must have strong computer skills in HVAC software (HAP, Duct/Pipe Sizer, Psychrometric Chart Analyzer etc.) and M.S Office programs.
7. Must have problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, and communication skills to liaise with Contractors, Project Managers and Clients.
8. Submit payment application to customer based on the work progress and follow-up for payment against the tax invoice based on payment certificate.
9. Should have professional license registration from the Council of Regulating the Practice of Engineering Profession (CRPEP) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. (NB: the candidate without CRPEP should have a minimum of 5 years of experience to obtain the license.)

- BE. Mechanical.
- Min 9 years’ experience in similar HVAC Project execution/ or in a similar position.
- Candidates with GCC Experience & Driving License will be considered first.
- Conversant with HVAC Standards & Codes (Ashrae, Smacna, DW)
- Heating / Cooling Load Calculations, Air Distribution & Piping Design
- Conversant with VRF / AHU / FCU, CHILLER Selection Software
- Should have excellent communication and people-handling skills.
