VAM Systems is currently looking for Oracle Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Skills
· At least 5 years’ experience in Oracle From/Report /Oracle Apex platform
· Deep knowledge in Oracle Reports 19C(PDF reports, Emailing)
· Deep knowledge in Oracle APEX
· 22.1.6(Transactional Forms, Security Menus, CSS, for look and feel, Java Script for client-side, functionalities)
· Deep knowledge in Oracle Database 19C(DML operations, DCL operations, PL/SQL routines, Webservice / API consumption)
· Proficiency in PL/SQL
· Understanding of software development best practices, including version control and testing methodologies.
· Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
· Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
· Experience in Oracle Forms 12c (transactional, APIs consuming, Excel exporting, emailing)
· Experience in Oracle Reports 12c (groups, matrix, Excel, PDF, command line)
· Experience in Oracle Apex 22.1.6 (progressive web & mobile applications, Reporting with templates, plugins)
· Experience in Oracle DB 19c: SQL, PL/SQL, Analytical functions and queries, Scheduled Jobs, JQuery, XQuery
Duties & Responsibilities
Backend
· Handle all operations work in Oracle Database 19c
· Perform required DML operations
· Perform required DDL operations
· Perform required DCL operations
· Perform required ACL operations
· Perform required DB to S3 bucket and reverse operations
· Provide and consume Webservices and APIs
Frontend
· Develop new Applications required in Oracle Apex environment
· Support existing Oracle Applications and perform any required introduced changes or reports and fix bugs.
Database, Testing, and Quality Assurance for Oracle
· Design, develop, and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle database or other relational database management systems.
· Optimize database performance through proper indexing, query optimization, and database tuning.
· Ensure data integrity and security through proper data modeling and access control mechanisms.
· Collaborate with backend developers to design database schemas that support application requirements.
· Implement data migration, ETL (DTS), and transformation scripts as needed.
· Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for front-end and backend applications.
· Automate testing processes using frameworks.
· Perform manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
· Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
· Monitor application performance and conduct load testing to identify bottlenecks.
Terms and conditions
Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in Bahrain.
