We are seeking a dynamic and creative Product Design Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating exceptional sportswear, activewear and accessories products that reflect our brand's commitment to excellence and innovation. As a Product Design Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire product development process, from concept ideation to final product design and beyond.
Job Description & Main Responsibilities
Pay: BD500.000 - BD600.000 per month
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Product Design Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating exceptional sportswear, activewear and accessories products that reflect our brand's commitment to excellence and innovation. As a Product Design Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire product development process, from concept ideation to final product design and beyond.
Job Description & Main Responsibilities
- Product Design: Create and develop innovative products that align with our brand vision. This includes apparel and accessories.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, including color, material, and design trends, while incorporating latest eco-friendly materials into product design.
- Design Conceptualization: Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize new product ideas that resonate with our target audience.
- Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings, sketches, and specifications for product prototypes and samples.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for each product, considering performance, quality, and sustainability.
- Sample Review: Oversee the sampling process, reviewing and providing feedback on product prototypes.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality and performance standards through testing and evaluation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including management, marketing, and business development departments, to bring products from concept to market.
- Market Research: Understand the market and competitors to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
- Design Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations of product designs to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or industrial design
- Proficiency in design software
- Strong knowledge of textiles, fabric technology, and manufacturing processes.
- Creativity, a passion for sports and active wear, and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Understanding of market trends and consumer preferences in the sportswear industry.
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask with strong time management skills
Pay: BD500.000 - BD600.000 per month
