Production Engineer

Responsibilities of the Production Engineer:

• Manage production engineering data and ensure quality control.
• Design and implement efficient extraction methods for oil and gas resources.
• Analyse well performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineer to improve records rates.
• Evaluate and propose fit-for-purpose sand control methods and completions involving gravel pack, prepacked screens, frac-pack etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical engineering discipline.
• Experience working in Middle East and global is essential.
• Minimum of 15 years of international experience, with at least 5 years in tight or unconventional gas reservoirs.
• Strong down-hole operation background with hands on experience in workover job planning and execution in deep HPHT wells.
• Familiar with well head components, interphases, and advanced well completion.
• Knowledge of sand management, sand control concepts and completion systems, low permeability and tight gas development, especially multi-fracturing horizontal wells (MFHW).
• Familiar with supply chain process on procurements, contracting, and contract management.
• Good track record of successful project management.
• HSE conscious working behaviour.
• Possess good team-playing and leadership skill, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Familiar with industry standard petroleum engineering tools like Petex IPM suite, ECRIN, OFM, EDM etc.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring less experienced Production Engineers.
