Job Description
VAM Systems is currently looking for Systems Administrator - AWS for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
SKILLS

• Participate in developing strategies for IT infrastructure growth and improvement
• Design, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Deploy and manage virtualized environments on site using technologies such

as Hyper-V

• Implement and manage cloud-based services and infrastructure, particularly

AWS & Azure

• Ensure the integration and interoperability of cloud and on-premises systems

Administration support for Microsoft Exchange

• Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and availability
• High Level Troubleshooting - Handle escalated issues that require advanced

technical expertise

• Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans
• Perform regular data backups and verify their integrity
• Coordinate recovery operations in case of data loss or system failure
• Manage network communication Devices (Firewall, Routers, switches, etc.)
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations,changes, and

procedures

• Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and improvements
• Administration support for office 365
• Managing Cortex XDR security solution
• UPS setup and configuration
• Schedule and perform regular maintenance on Tape Library equipment and

ensure the integrity and security of data stored on tapes

• Manage Access Control Systems
• Coordinating with local vendors for equipment as and when required
• Following up with the local vendors to resolve equipment failures, ensure the

delivery and support levels
