Where this role fits in our mission
We are looking for an empathetic and driven talent specialist who can help us scale our recruiting efforts as part of our Employee Experience (EX) team. We believe any future team member’s experience starts with their application, this role is key to ensuring our applicant experience is of high quality and is built with open communication and empathy in mind.
What you’ll be working on
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Source potential candidates through online channels with employer brand in mind (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Plan/coordinate interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Supporting team leaders and managers with their hiring needs
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Communicating with candidates and updating them on their application status
- Collecting candidates feedback about the application process
- Coordinating and supporting the Employee Experience on onboarding efforts
- Suggest and brainstorm new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
- Supporting company culture initiatives as part of the Employee Experience team
Ideal Candidate
- Empathetic, kind, and warm personality
- Proven work experience in recruitment
- Has experience leading interviews
- Strong team player and coordinator
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) is a big plus
