Function
As a Customer Service Representative, your goal is to ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth communication and interaction between internal departments (sales, production, planning, finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (customers, subsidiaries, carriers, suppliers, etc.).Your daily tasks include:
- Managing an established customer portfolio based on territory (Asia-Oceania-Italy Benelux).
- Preparing quotations and forwarding them to the customer or the sales manager.
- Supporting the sales department for all information related to the follow-up and management of files.
- Checking, processing and initiating orders for spare parts and new equipment (in collaboration with technical staff to verify technical feasibility and correspondence to technical limitations).
- Assisting the service manager in the preparation of commercial offers and reading sales contracts.
- Keeping files up-to-date in the ERP system.
Your manager is Jurgen Claus. Jurgen strives to integrate you into the team and guide you during your induction period and training, which will be provided by highly dynamic and knowledgeable colleagues, each in their own field.
Once you are independent, you will independently manage your assigned territory, but you can always count on the support of the team and, in particular, Jurgen. It is within this framework of autonomy and caring that we are looking for our new colleague!
- Invoicing customer orders and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions set by finance.
- Point of contact: You are the main point of contact for the customer for questions related to file follow-up on service orders (production times, transportation, etc.).
Profile
- You own a Bachelor or Master degree with a commercial or technical direction or equivalent through experience.
- First experience in a similar function (customer contact & order processing).
- You’re in possession of an excellent knowledge of Dutch and French (min. B2), any other languages are a valuable asset.
- Good knowledge of the industry and technical products.
- A good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of an ERP system.
- A good communicator who communicates easily with different members of the company.
- Dynamic and proactive: you are not afraid to take initiative and develop your knowledge (especially in the technical field).
- Customer-oriented and solution-oriented: you have a strong commercial insight and want to find realistic solutions to satisfy the customer.
- Organized and meticulous: you manage your orders in a structured way and you can work under customer stress.
